SAP is the Governments Standard Assessment Procedure for Energy Rating of Dwellings and SAP 2005 is the adopted methodology for the calculation of the energy performance of buildings.

SAP is used to show compliance with Building Regulations Part L which is concerned with the conservation of heat and power. SAP assessments are required for all new dwellings and some renovations and conversions. SAP is also used to show improved energy performance which is a requirement for the Code for Sustainable Homes.

brilliant futures ltd are fully licensed under the 'completent persons' scheme to use NHER SAP sortware to model buildings and show complinace with part LA and L1B of building regulations and to calculate Code for Sustainable Homes ENE1 credits. In addition we are On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors (OCDEA) and can produce the EPC for you new building or conversion

NHER software is approved by the BRE which means we are 'competent persons' to undertake SAP calculations  for a Code for Sustainable Home or EcoHomes assessment

We will also liaise with Building Control on your behalf to discuss your particular building and ensure compliance
